Stick Genocide is a particular kind of card. Its purpose is to remove all of a broad range of cards while leaving everything else unharmed.
The original card removes all cards with stickmen on them. This is only one possible usage. They may be used to remove Mega-point cards, all cards with triangles on them, all Turn Manipulation Cards, or anything else you can think of.
They may be thought of as halfway between a Sniper Card and a Blast Card.
